Stars Who Struggled to Conceive Share Fertility Issues
Celebrities Also Have Difficult Roads to Parenthood
Many celebrities experience the same fertility challeges as anybody else.
Brittney Spears and fiance Sam Asgahri revealed that they suffered a pregnancy loss just one month after announcing that they were expecting a baby together.
Today Show host Savannah Guthrie recently reflected on suffering a miscarriage. “I stopped even letting myself hope or believe I could [get pregnant] because the years were getting on. It wasn’t that I thought it was impossible; I just thought it wasn’t likely. I didn’t want to get my hopes up.”
Maria Menounos recent shared how it has been a long journey. “Almost, like, a decade. It’s been a long time. We’ve done everything — I mean, literally everything. They’ve tried to get me pregnant, that didn’t work. Kevin had a surgery, that didn’t work. He’s hung me upside down like a chicken, that didn’t work! We stuck together and believed and are now expecting our baby!”
Lea Michelle struggled to conceived her baby boy due to her PCOS. “I was like, ‘Let’s just stop.’ … I kept thinking, ‘Maybe this isn’t meant to be for me. Maybe this isn’t going to happen.’ It’s something that for me, personally, was always my biggest fear in my entire life. It’s what I’ve wanted more than anything. Emotionally, it just started to build and build. … Then we got pregnant. We hope to have another, and we have faith God will bring us another when the time is right.”
